Lost & Found:
16-22 July, 2021

The Darkroom | Dublin, IE | 16 - 22 July | 2021

In March I was invited to take part in a group show responding to the theme of Lost & Found. Inspired by a donated box of old film slides, the exhibition asked participants to follow one rule. To pick a film slide blindly from the box and create work inspired by it.

In response to the topic I created When I Dream of You, I Dream of Clouds, a Polaroid series - and new body of work, exploring the ephemeral nature of memory. The exhibition ran at The Darkroom from 16 to 22 July with an Opening Night on Thursday 15 July at 6pm and an Artist Talk on Thursday 21 July at 7pm. I had the pleasure of showing my work alongside 7 other invited artists: Sandy Kennedy, Niamh McGuinne, Wendy Judge, Joanne Betty Conlon, Sinead Curran, Martina Coyle and Mella Travers.

The Darkroom is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to support and encourage risk-taking emerging photographers and artists as well as introduce a new audience to the medium, keeping analogue photography firmly on Dublin and Ireland’s creative and cultural map.
